It's hard to believe I have been with OBX Chevrolet Buick for 8.5 years already. It has been such a great honor to guide our company because of the wonderful team I inherited and from the talent we have been able to acquire during my tenure. From our award-winning Bodyshop, Service and Parts Department and the management team's 75 years of experience to our sales department with over 150 years of combined experience to make sure all your needs are met and exceeded in every aspect of the sale.
We take great pride in being a part of our community and giving back to those that are less fortunate than us. Due to our growth partnership and support of our community we have been able to donate over 150,000 back to our community thru many charities in the Outer Banks and thru various Rotaries as well.
The Outer Banks Home Builders and its members have had a huge impact on our success, and we are grateful for your continuous support.

2023 First Quarter Newsletter and Member Spotlight
January:
January 17th the First General membership Meeting was held at 3 Tequilas. Wes Carroll, past NCHBA President installed the 2023 Board Members and Blair Meads as President of the OBHBA. We would like to thank OBX Furniture for providing a beautiful beach painting to give to Wes as a thank you.
The 2022 Parade of Homes People’s Choice Awards and Judges Award winners were recognized.

Service Awards and recognition were given out also. Nathan Neal was recognized for his long-time service to the Board. David Buchanan was awarded the 2022 President’s Award; Blair Meads was the 2022 Builder of the Year and Jay Overton was the 2022 Associate of the Year. Jonathan Daniels was presented with the Outstanding Service and Dedication Award for all his hard work on the Parade of Homes.

February:
February 9th First Flight High School held their Tech School and Trade Expo. Thank you to Duke Geraghty for helping with this. A special thank you to: Chase and Lindsey Patterson with Albemarle Landscapes; Paul Perkins with Blossman Gas & Appliances; Mike O’Brien with Kempsville Building Materials and Susan Yann with Suburban Electric for representing the Outer Banks Home Builders Association.
February 17th was Family Fun Bowling night at OBX Bowling. This event was sponsored by Joey Austin with Atlantic Elevators. Bowlers of all ages came out and everyone had a really good time.
February 21st was the 1st Quarter NCHBA meeting held in Greenville. The OBHBA was well represented. Jake Overton, Jay Overton, Blair Meads, Mark Martin, Dave Stormont, Vaughan Robinson, and Phyllis Hobbs attended.

March 16th NCHBA Region 2 held a meeting at Brook Valley Country Club in Greenville. David Price, President of the Inner Banks HBA hosted the meeting.
March 30th several Board members and the EO took a trip to Avon and met several of our Hatteras members at Pangea Tavern.
